GOOD HUMANS CHARLOTTE
“I still can’t look at the pictures of the flood from the first bakery. It was a point in my life where I understood how resilient I am and how important it is to have people in your corner who are there for you no matter what. I have two of my staff members who stayed with me through it all and we had to pivot in many ways. It was a good understanding that I don’t need to be doing this alone. I’m a big believer in creating a safe space to work and to be a place where all people can visit and feel safe. The Batch House is bigger than me, it’s for the community. I’m proud of the growth and what we have been able to accomplish as a team and for this city.”
