Do you make wedding cakes?
Yes…but also no. Please visit our weddings page to learn if what we CAN do is what you want for your special day. We suggest also looking at our bulk order info, many couples love ordering mini treats and having a table of treats.
How early do I need to place an order?
The earlier the better, but we ask for a two-week notice on your order. If you have less than a two-week period, still contact me and I might have a spot! I understand that life happens.
Do you deliver, or do I have to pick it up?
Unfortunately, we are not delivering items. All orders will need to be picked up during opening hours.
Do you mail goodies?
I would love to be able to send everyone goodies, especially since I have so many loved ones across the USA–but, for now, I am only taking local orders.
do i need to order a whole batch of cookies? what if i only want one (or two)?
You are welcome to come by the bakery for freshly baked treats. Pre orders are only if you would like to order a whole cake or a whole dozen of an item. You’re welcome to get a dozen in the pastry case, but pre ordering is a little more economical.
Do you make personalized character cakes?
As much as I would love to fulfill all your orders, there are times where I have to step back and let someone more qualified do the job. I am not a professional fondant decorator, so if you are looking for a character cake, I am not able to help you out. I can refer you to a few skilled bakers in the Charlotte area.
whats your cancellation policy?
Everything is baked fresh but also some items are prepared for in advance (ie, the purchasing of ingredients and scheduling of right amount of staff) and it puts us behind if you cancel with short notice. So, we ask for as much notice as possible but there are no refunds for orders cancelled within 48 hours.
Do you offer bulk quantities for parties/ corporate events, etc?
YES! we love being a part of your birthdays and celebrations or saturday outings, and being able to now participate in weddings, corporate parties, or even make batchboxes for teachers gifts or clients has been a new fun adventure. Click here for more info on what we call bulk orders!
Do you Bake any gluten-free and/or dairy-free items?
I know many of you have food intolerances and I am currently working on being able to offer more options for my gluten- and lactose-intolerant friends. As of now, we offer GF s’mores brownies and GF carrot cake.
